About Chad Ethredge

Over the past 27 years I have worked in, and managed teams within, the Pulp & Paper, Automotive, Automation, and Engineering Consulting Industries driving best practice implementation of Operational & Reliability Excellence, Asset Management, and Lean Manufacturing Principles. I am experienced in multi-plant strategy development and implementation, capital budget planning and procurement, operational budget planning and tracking, associate selection and development, project management, new product launch, process planning and development, and Strategic Account Management. I am detail oriented with outstanding organizational abilities; an effective communicator in both oral and written form; enthusiastic and outgoing personality with strong interpersonal skills. My strengths lie in leading cross-functional teams to improve Operational Performance, through the development and implementation of strategic plans, focusing on organization management, asset reliability, and lean manufacturing systems. I have held positions in project engineering, process development, equipment industrialization, operations management, engineering and maintenance management, and Business Development. In each of these roles I placed a strong focus on lean systems implementation, waste elimination, continuous improvement, and optimized asset performance. I have been trained in lean systems implementation (Toyota Production System) as well as problem solving and root cause analysis (Six Sigma and Shainin Red X). I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University, am a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and certified in Prosci’s Change Management and Reliability Engineering Practices.
