About Chad Godwin

Current founder and operating CEO of Godwin Formwork Solutions inc. One of my core attributes is good old-fashioned hard work. I feel as if I work for my employees in lieu of them working for me. I am always working and am not the type of business owner to clock out at 5 pm. If clients call after hours or on weekends, I answer and do my best to find an appropriate solution. Vacations are never time away from work. It’s a constant responsibility and requirement that I will always be available to my clients no matter the personal cost to my own time. As the Founder and CEO, it is my job to be the best version of myself daily. My name is on the building and my reputation is at risk with each and every project. This is not something that is taken lightly. I believe in leading from the top and don’t see myself above my employees. While my day-to-day tasks are typical of a more managerial type description, there are many days where it is necessary for me to jump on a forklift and help load an order that needs to be shipped out. My employee's ability to live a prosperous and fruitful life is a direct extension of my leadership. John F. Kennedy once said, “Leadership and learning are indispensable to each other.” I find this to be a remarkably accurate statement. Leadership and continuing education are both prerequisites to success and a luxury.
