About Chad Henshaw

I'm a physicist and educator with a PhD in gravitational wave astrophysics from Georgia Tech. Over the past several years, I’ve taught undergraduate physics at multiple levels while conducting advanced research in gravitational wave data analysis and black hole dynamics. I believe strongly in helping students build intuition in physics through clear explanations, active engagement, and hands-on applications. I bring a strong background in science communication, course design, and practical experience as a physicist and engineer. My research has focused on developing novel methods for understanding black hole phenomena based on gravitational wave data, and I see teaching as a natural extension of that work — an opportunity to inspire the next generation of physicists. I’m currently seeking a teaching-focused faculty position where I can continue to grow as an educator and contribute to a strong academic community.
