About Chad Hunter
I specialize in pre-clinical imaging using small animal (rodent) models. My current research is focused on molecular radiotherapy (theragnostics/theranostics) with SPECT imaging. In addition I have doctorate and post-doctorate experience in Positron Emission Tomography (PET) imaging, for cardiac (heart) imaging to aid in the diagnosis of coronary artery disease. I have done both image-based dosimetry and development/evaluation of algorithms for patient body motion correction. For cardiac imaging I primarily worked with the blood flow tracer Rb-82 chloride. I addition, I have experience in machine learning which includes the following: natural language processing, support vector machines, random forests, multilayer perceptron's and convolution neural networks.
