About Chad Putman

I graduated from Ohio State University Agricultural Technical Institute with an associate degree in Turf and Turfgrass Management. Since March 2019, I have been working as the Department Manager of Agronomics at SiteOne Landscape Supply, the largest and only national wholesale distributor of landscape supplies in the United States. My core competencies include agronomy, agriculture, and pesticide application. In my current role, I assist current and new fertilizer companies in managing fertilizer and chemicals to provide the best looking lawns for their customers. I customize programs to individual needs, using liquid or granular products. I also manage inventory and order materials throughout the season, troubleshoot and provide solutions to climate, insect, fungus, and other issues, and adapt quickly to critical thinking and fast-paced conditions. I enjoy helping and achieving results, as well as farming and food plot planting. I have a strong mechanical background and sales experience. I value customer obsession, innovation, and teamwork, and I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the agronomics industry.
