I started off in the fire service as a volunteer firefighter and work my way through to hold the position as a firefighter EMT with the Westover fire department as a paid firefighter from there I went on to pursue the emergency medicine route starting as a EMT basic at Cape fear valley working as a medical transport EMT basic and back up critical care driver from there I went on to pursue my paramedic certification and have held a certification since then working as a paramedic with Cumberland County/Cape fear valley a traditional paramedic on ALS unit.
