About Chad Vick

Chad J. Vick, DNAP, CRNA, is a highly experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist with nearly 20 years in critical care and anesthesia. He earned his Doctorate of Nurse Anesthesia Practice from the Medical University of South Carolina and has since built a career defined by clinical excellence, leadership, and patient safety. His expertise spans all major surgical specialties—including trauma, neurosurgery, orthopedics, obstetrics, cardiovascular, robotics, and interventional procedures—with advanced skills in airway management, regional anesthesia, and multimodal perioperative care. Chad’s career began in intensive care nursing at Roper St. Francis Healthcare, MUSC, and St. Elizabeth Health Center, where he managed critically ill patients and developed a strong foundation for anesthesia practice. A published researcher and conference presenter, he has contributed to advancing sepsis management and anesthesia knowledge while mentoring SRNAs in clinical training. He maintains certification with the NBCRNA, advanced life support credentials, and active membership in both the American Association of Nurse Anesthesiologists and the AACN, reflecting his commitment to professional growth, collaboration, and patient advocacy.
