Proven senior transportation, distribution and maintenance manager. Ready for the next career! Knowing my 30 year career in the Marine Corps officially wraps up in October 2022 allows me to begin looking towards "What's next?". I have been extremely fortunate to have served my last two tours at Marine Corps Systems Command aboard Marine Corps Base Quantico and in the office of Deputy Commandant for Logistics and Installations in the Pentagon. Both of these billets provided tremendous insight into the inner workings of logistics and transportation. My future vision has me providing my experience, leadership, work ethic, and enthusiasm for transportation, distribution, maintenance and logistics management to an exciting, growing, and cutting edge transportation or logistics organization. I thrive on challenges and discomfort. I pride myself on my common sense approach to problem solving and I never settle for “good enough”. I am always willing to learn and adapt. I will be a valuable motivated asset! I welcome any advice or assistance that may help prepare me for my transition in 2022. My preference is either remain in the Northern Virginia area or to relocate to the northwestern corner of the United States. Seattle, Portland, Boise, etc. However, for the right rewarding career I will relocate nearly anywhere.
