I am focused on bringing world-class, minimally-invasive, image-guided procedures to the people of central Minnesota. Most procedures can be done on an outpatient basis through small pinhole incisions with quicker recovery and less down time compared to traditional surgery. Interventional Oncology: Chemoembolization (TACE), selective internal radioembolization (Y-90 Theraspheres), radiation segmentectomy, radiation lobectomy, microwave ablation, cryoablation, portal vein embolization, splenic embolization, vertebroplasty/augmentation, sacroplasty, spinal tumor ablation, image-guided biopsy. Women's Health: Uterine fibroid embolization (UFE), pelvic congestion syndrome, varicose veins, labial varices, fallopian tube recanalization, lower extremity varicose vein treatment. Men's Health: Varicocele embolization, prostate artery embolization (PAE). Venous Diseases: Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) lysis and thrombectomy, thoracic outlet syndrome (Paget–Schroetter syndrome), pulmonary embolism (PE) lysis, venous stent placement, varicose vein treatment, endovenous laser ablation (EVLT), RF vein ablation, Venaseal closure, sclerotherapy, mechanochemical ablation with ClariVein, ambulatory phlebectomy, IVC filter placement and removal, venous malformation and lymphatic malformation ablation/embolization. Peripheral Arterial Disease: angioplasty, stent placement, atherectomy, critical limb ischemia, limb salvage, chronic total occlusion (CTO) recanalization, noninvasive vascular imaging (CTA, MRA, US). Endovascular repair of abdominal aortic aneurysms, endovascular repair of mesenteric and visceral artery aneurysms, renal artery stent placement. Portal Hypertension: Transjugular Intrahepatic Portosystemic Shunt (TIPS), Direct Intrahepatic Portacaval Shunt (DIPS), Balloon-Occluded Antegrade Transvenous Obliteration (BATO). Plug Assisted Retrograde Transvenous Obliteration (PARTO) and Balloon-Occluded Retrograde Transvenous Obliteration (BRTO) for bleeding gastric varices. Dialysis: Percutaneous AV fistula creation using Ellypsis device. Fistula maintenance with angioplasty and stent graft placement. Placement of initial dialysis access. Trauma and preoperative embolization.
