I have more than 28 years of experience in Business Development, Team Leadership, Sales, and Merchandising. I have focused on emerging categories, resulting in improved profitability. Understanding the customer and market trends helped to generate leads for sales calls. I am very aware of the importance of compliance of sales policies and its processes. I presented business models and company initiatives to the frontline, the customers and management. I have also been instrumental in new product development while managing distributors and day-to-day business by tracking sales, chain authorizations, and distribution on an ongoing basis. Based upon my analysis of sales progress, I implemented changes to procedures and programs. I was responsible for developing and implementing sales incentives for Regional Sales Managers and Sales Representatives to reach and exceed volume plans. I hired, trained, and developed sales teams that serviced Wal-Mart, Target, Ralphs, Vons, Stater Bros, and Albertsons.
