About Chanda Subedi

I’m an aspiring management professional and passionate environmental leader from Nepal, currently pursuing my Master of Management at the University of Niagara Falls, Canada. My journey began with a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, where I developed a strong foundation in sustainability, climate change, and natural resource management. Over time, I discovered my purpose — empowering communities and young leaders to protect our planet through education, awareness, and collaboration. In 2022, I completed an Externship with the National Geographic Society and The Nature Conservancy, hosted by Paragon One (now branded as Extern). That experience introduced me to global environmental leadership and strengthened my passion for conservation and youth engagement. I am now working with Extern as a Lead Ambassador, helping students worldwide discover meaningful conservation and professional learning opportunities. Through this role, I continue to promote global environmental awareness and mentor aspiring changemakers. I’ve also worked with organizations such as WWF Nepal, Forest Action Nepal, UNDP, and Eco Network Global, focusing on environmental research, climate advocacy, and community-based sustainability initiatives. Now, as a management student in Canada, I’m passionate about bridging the gap between environmental science and business management — developing sustainable strategies that create real-world impact and promote responsible leadership. Beyond academics, I enjoy mentoring students, sharing stories that inspire action, and connecting with people who share a vision for a sustainable future.
