Over 30 years of social services and public education experiences with a variety of socioeconomic populations. General social work skills in assessment and case planning. Use CBT, multigenerational family models of family therapy. Familiar with SOAP notes as well as BIRPs. 99% of case record actions correct. Use of ADDIE model in parent education programming. Developed and scheduled programming for one of 11 parent resource centers in third largest public school system in GA. Training parents on basic Microsoft software for further use in supporting student's academic work or for personal use. Created and facilitated academic workshops for parents and children. Familiar with SWOT model of program assessment. I thoroughly enjoyed the years of teaching 5th grade math and science, as well as leading the junk drawer robotics club for our local 4-H program. Encouraging life long learning with students and parents and those who I supervise is an investment in all of our lives. Leadership skills have been developed through volunteer leadership in local and national organization’s boards. Prefers transformational to transactional supervision. Currently, make decisions for policy and procedures for hospice SW discipline.Supervising 9 MSWs, 1 end of life doula, and BSW and MSW interns.
