About Chandan Kumar Sahu

A researcher with expertise in Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI), Large Language Models (LLM), graph theory (or network analysis), Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), agents, and physics-guided machine learning. The focus of my recent research at CU-ICAR and Honda has been on the requirements of complex cyber-physical systems (CPS) and additive manufacturing. I have explored blockchain, augmented reality, tropical geometry and topological data analysis as well. As a researcher, I develop, tailor, and deploy machine learning, formal methods, and mathematical tools for engineering applications. With a core belief in "going in with all guns" to solve the target problem, I have leveraged ML, NLP, LLMs, graph theory, data visualization, RAG, and agents to enhance the requirements engineering process in the conceptual design phase of complex systems. I am proficient in Python (PyTorch, Tensorflow, Keras, Scikit-Learn, OpenCV, Sympy, spacy, Captum, LangChain, LlamaIndex, Ollama), Slurm, Matlab, Docker, C, SQL, AWS, HTML, and BeautifulSoup. As a project leader, I align technical solutions with organizational goals amidst stakeholder expectations and evolving requirement landscapes. I lead teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet technical and organizational requirements within planned timelines while maximizing the value.
