As a public policy and legislative affairs professional with a strong foundation in political science and government relations, I bring a unique blend of strategic insight, operational management, and communications expertise across multiple levels of state government. With hands-on experience in legislative coordination, policy development, and project management, I’ve led initiatives that directly impact critical areas such as homelessness, domestic violence, human trafficking prevention, and education reform. In my current role, I lead policy and legislative functions for seven major offices and initiatives under the Florida Department of Children and Families. My role involves developing legislative proposals, guiding strategic planning, and advising senior leadership, while ensuring regulatory compliance and effective policy implementation. In previous roles, I managed statewide legislative and communications operations for school choice programs and led the rule development and rulemaking processes impacting key stakeholders. I’ve held roles in the Florida Senate, Florida House of Representatives, Florida state agencies, and the U.S. House of Representatives, gaining a comprehensive understanding of government processes and public service.
