About Chandler Wright

I am very outgoing and dedicated to serving my community and the people within it. I am very familiar with early child hood development and have a passion for working with the younger age groups (birth-6). I have worked at the daycare myself for the past three years and this has assisted me in figuring out my target audience. I was also a swim instructor at the YMCA and this allowed me to see the difference in the dynamics of families with different values and out looks on life. During my internship with Sheltering Arms as a family support coach it allowed me to see both sides of the spectrum as far as in the classroom and some of the things parents may be going through. I worked closely with parents and provided them with the resources they needed in order to be better parents for their students. I also worked with the teachers in the classroom, advocating for them to upper management about their concerns and different ways they could be supported in their classroom. I provided teachers with different ideas and research that could help them in their classroom as far as classroom management, how to deal with students that may have extenuating circumstances, and how to be a better teacher to each individual student.
