Living and loving 30 plus years in entertainment industry marketing. Concerts and Special Events Marketing are my passion. Radio Sales Experience Formats Include: Country, AC, Top 40, Rock, Gospel, Jazz, R&B, Hip-Hop and News Talk. Perhaps I am best known for my ability to increase advertising sales and raise revenue for charitable organizations. My career is etched in Radio history with more than half a dozen call letters donning my resume. My work includes work in varied genres, from country to hip hop; to gospel and R&B. I was noted as being the top sales producer during my radio tenure with WENN Radio from 1990-2005. Among my most notable public ventures is ground breaking work to develop, promote and secure financing for the renowned Taste of Fourth Avenue Jazz Festival. My passion for the Art’s began at an early age and continued as a student at Webster Career College in Los Angeles, CA. My pursuit ultimately led me to the University of Alabama at Birmingham where I was an English/ Theater major. My philanthropic efforts have landed me a seat on various charitable boards which include the Birmingham Museum of Urban Art, the Kelley Ingram Park Committee, The Nick Bell Foundation and Brenda’s Brown Bosom Buddies, an organization which educates women of color who are also breast cancer survivors. My career included the handling of National Ticket Sales for blockbuster artist such as Anita Baker, BB King, Lionel Ritchie and Stevie Wonder. I currently serve as the principal of Arena Events Marketing; a Birmingham based advertising agency and artist management group. Specialties: Arbitron, Scarbrough, RAB, CSS, Product Information and Business Flow Charts for multiple industries. Technically savy with a vast knowledge of how to reach multiple demographics in multiple markets.
