About Chandra Thomas

I have been a teacher by profession for the better part of thirty years. I am now looking to make a move in a different direction. I am looking to do some educational consulting to better help not only teachers, but the students that they teach. I would eventually like to be a resource for the young people in my community, by helping them with their educational goals as well as finding employment. I want to find persons who have started consultancies already and would be willing to mentor myself and those like me to go out to utilize this gift within the various communities. In doing this, it helps to make my community stronger as well as the persons within it. Specialties: I have a special gift for working with young people, especially the very young children. I can negotiate with young people oftentimes when others cannot. I learned how to teach children power point presentations while working for a school in the Chicago area. Using this media with children often allows them to use creative skills to express themselves.
