I introduce myself as a mid-career academic with approximately 25 years of experience in teaching and research at the University of Delhi and several other academic institutions overseas. Over a period of five years, from 2012 to 2016, I held the responsibility of enhancing the research reputation of the College of Social Sciences at the University of Birmingham, UK - which is among the top-tier Universities and Research organizations in India. During this period, collaborating with the international relations team of the University of Birmingham, I had the honor of initiating and managing projects related to grant acquisitions, collaborative publications, and academic partnerships between the University of Birmingham and various institutions in India. I am well-versed in the intricate strategies and sensitivities required not only for enhancing institutional reputation but also for proficiently organizing significant events. With a career spanning over 25 years in academia, I possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that have facilitated the expansion and maintenance of extensive social connections encompassing academia, media, corporate sectors, and government bodies, particularly in India. I have a profound understanding of how human resources can be efficiently utilized and leveraged for organizational benefits. As a columnist I contribute to leading Indian newspapers and as Political Analyst I am a regular guest in the Electronic and Digital Media I am Convenor Hindu -ORF Policy Conclave and as an Honorary Director at the ILead Global Foundation I am also the Convenor of the Annual Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS) ILead ‘Rising Leaders’ Training Program.
