My work has been exhibited internationally at venues such as the International Symposium on Electronic Art (ISEA), SIGGRAPH Asia, Blitz Valletta in Malta, and the New Mexico Museum of Art–Vladem Contemporary, and has been featured in WIRED, GeekWire, KUOW/NPR, and The Seattle Times.I hold a Ph.D. in Digital Arts and Experimental Media from the University of Washington, an MFA in Fiber and Material Studies from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and a BFA in Craft Design from Dongduk Women’s University in Seoul. I currently serve as an Assistant Professor of Digital Arts in the Department of Art and Art History at the University at Albany (SUNY), where I teach courses in digital media, animation, and interactive art, and contribute to interdisciplinary programming in gaming and immersive technologies.Recent honors include the 2024 Women in STEM Award, and the Judson-Morrissey Excellence in New Media Award from the New Media Caucus.
