I am an enthusiast leader who enjoys the ingenuity of learning. I will forever be a student even as I teach. Looking for an opportunity to work with companies that focus on sustainability and creating a better quality of life for everyone. With over 13 years retail experience, 6 years experience in Shipping and Receiving I have acquired impeccable communication skills, operational skills and planning skills. In 2018, I became the president of the TIME team which is a volunteer program after work hours at my previous employer. As the president, I created agendas for biweekly meetings and delegated volunteer opportunities in the community. My greatest accomplishment was showing others that we all make a difference no matter how small the contribution. Some other accomplishments were increasing sales in the floral department by color arranging, building displays and up selling to customers. Lastly, in my store receiving role I trained multiple backup receivers and maintained positive relationships with upper management. Attended leadership meeting and contributed suggestions on the flow of product from vendor to sales floor. Currently over 90% receiving metrics at current employer.
