As a member of Bytes Software Services, I started within the orders team which involved logging all purchase orders, submitting orders onto the Bytes Systems, ensuring the orders were purchased, as well as dealing with internal order queries. After 2 years with the orders team I joined the Sales Support team and supported 4 account managers, it was my responsibility to ensure that their customers had the right information and help they required to adequately serve their business. Shortly after moving into the sales support I became sole support to the SPLA team. I provided customer service to all of our customers on a daily basis by providing license quotations, placing license orders, helping deal with queries and providing license information. I would prepare SPLA contracts for new and renewal customers. I would ensure that all SPLA customers were compliant with their monthly reporting. I implemented the set up of all customers being able to view pricing and report via the Bytes Software Services online portal. I also created a reporting guide as well as a demo video to provide our customers with the required steps to online reporting. In addition to SPLA licensing I would assist customers with licensing requirements for numerous software vendors. I moved from the SPLA team around two years ago back to Sales support as a CSRM (Customer Support & Relationship Manager). My daily tasks still include the below: Providing license quotes Submitting license orders Assisting with customer queries Managing renewals Data entry into CRM- including creation of newly acquired customers, renewal opportunities and new deal opportunities. I regularly use my own initiative to look for new ways to assist with offering added value to our customers and increasing internal gross profits.
