About Chanele Robinson-Rucker

Upon completion of my Ph.D, I began serving the field of early childhood education and development as the project manager of a federally-funded project aimed at developing an evidence-based curriculum and training resources for child care programs serving children from birth to age 5 years. From the conception to completion of the Early Learning Matters (ELM) curriculum, I have conducted in-depth reviews of published research, stakeholder interviews, content development, and professional development training. Currently, I serve as the program development manager of the Center for Early Learning that supports research, curriculum, and evaluation in the field of early childhood education and development. This position provides opportunities to pursue my passions of developing programs, projects, and products that promote children’s learning and development as well as early childhood professionals development and training. My management experiences and graduate training in multiple federally-funded longitudinal early childhood education projects have shaped my interest in early childhood development, curriculum, and assessment; children’s school readiness, social-emotional development, self-regulation, and resilience; early childhood professional development and training.
