About Changxin Wan

I'm currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Computational Biology and Bioinformatics at Duke University, where I work on developing computational methods for analyzing single-cell multi-omics data. My research focuses on leveraging machine learning and statistical methods to integrate and interpret large-scale single-cell sequencing data, contributing to advances in disease research. My work includes building databases such as CompassDB and developing R packages like CompassR for integrative analysis and visualization of gene regulation through single-cell Multiome data. I have also built pipelines for automating data parsing, downloading, and processing of publicly available single-cell data. I am always eager to engage in projects at the intersection of data science, computational biology, and machine learning to drive innovation in health research.
