About Chanmeet Singh

With over 12 years of work experience in the electronics and communication engineering field, I am a passionate and dedicated technical engineer at Smiths Detection, a global leader in threat detection and security solutions. My core competencies include installing, repairing, and maintaining complex equipment, providing technical support to customers and other service professionals, and documenting and reporting all service activities. I am driven by the mission of making the world a safer place, and I strive to deliver high-quality service and customer satisfaction. I also bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, as I have worked in different regions and sectors, including aviation, military, and transportation. In my current role as a technical engineer at Smiths Detection, I work as a PBC shift team lead, responsible for meeting daily service repair needs and driving customer satisfaction. I also participate in service sales opportunities and assist with promoting and implementing revenue programs. I have successfully completed several certifications and training programs, such as Linux, XCT 10080, CXS, Trace Detectors,CTX9800 SEIO PM CERT, and MUXv2, which have enhanced my technical skills and knowledge. Additionally, I use ServiceMax Zinc and ServiceMax Field Service Management tools to communicate and collaborate with my colleagues and customers, and to manage and optimize service operations. I have also received multiple awards and recognition for my efforts, such as the Star Award and the Appreciation Award.
