About Chantal Eid

I am a certified clinical psychologist and licensed psychodynamic psychotherapist with over ten years of professional experience in psychotherapy and psychosocial support. My work spans diverse populations, including refugees, displaced persons, host communities, and vulnerable groups such as children, the elderly, women, survivors of sexual and gender-based violence, victims of torture, war crimes, and crimes against humanity, as well as individuals involved in witness protection programs. I have extensive experience working with international and humanitarian organizations, providing counseling, individual psychotherapy, and group psychotherapy to adolescents, children, and adults. My professional practice also includes staff counseling, organizational change support, and the design and implementation of psychosocial programs for communities affected by violence, conflict, and displacement. My expertise covers a wide range of psychological and emotional challenges, including but not limited to: Adults: mood disorders, anxiety disorders, phobias, trauma and loss, psychosomatic disorders, substance abuse, eating disorders, self-esteem and social difficulties, relationship problems, anger management. Children and adolescents: behavioral difficulties, school-related challenges, aggression and anger, fears and anxieties, problematic family dynamics, self-image issues, and social or peer relationship problems. I am committed to the highest ethical standards, including confidentiality, integrity, and respect for diversity, ensuring that all clients receive safe, supportive, and culturally sensitive care. I hold a national license from the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health and am a member of the Lebanese Order of Psychologists. I am fluent in Arabic, French, and English, and I provide individual psychotherapy sessions both in-person and remotely.
