About Chappa Sri Vinay

Leveraging MBA insights (IITD) with an engineering foundation (B.Tech, DU), Vinay excels in Product Development and Management, powered by an interest in Automation, Data & AI, and Solution Architecture. Currently, he is a MBA freshman at DMS, IITD (Class of 2025). He is a B.Tech graduate from Cluster Innovation Centre, University of Delhi (Class of 2022) with majors in Mathematical Innovations and Information Technology and minor in Management and Economics. Vinay is the founder of AiView, a research start-up where he led the design of innovative software solutions to assist visually impaired individuals in navigation and environmental awareness through the utilization of AI, ML, and computer vision. Before embarking on his MBA journey at DMS, IITD, Vinay showcased his acumen as a Product Manager at DeepLogic AI. He steered the development of EPIC, a pioneering full-stack Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) web application. Moreover, he was the driving force behind DeepLogicAI’s Innovation Lab, where he championed groundbreaking projects such as ComicDraw, an AI comic editor, and Sketch2CAD, a tool that transforms hand-drawn sketches into professional CAD drawings. His innovation and leadership expanded the company's product portfolio by 40%. Through meticulous project management and strategic cost tracking, Vinay increased productivity by 25% and consistently maintained high stakeholder satisfaction. His legacy at DeepLogicAI endures, with his initiated products continuing to be pivotal in the company's offerings. In addition, Vinay accumulated valuable practical experience through critical internships. At HackerRank, he honed his technical skills as a software engineer by enhancing proctoring tools and introducing key features for assessment integrity. This experience was bolstered by proficiency in Python, ReactJS, Ruby on Rails, and AWS. During his time at the Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO), he tackled the challenge of Image Captioning, demonstrating an ability to integrate complex attention models into the process.
