About Charith Amarasinghe

I love to help businesses grow! Ever since my first job in the global fashion supply chain, I have been fascinated by the concept of ‘global village’ and international business. Fast forward 16 years, I have enjoyed various client acquisition and management roles across many organisations, sectors, and countries. Most of them involved international business; all of them involved helping customers! Over the past several years, I have enjoyed helping Australian businesses access the finance needed to grow and prosper internationally. The combination of banking / finance and industry experience has been instrumental to my success to date. In my current role, I am focussing on large Australian corporates and project sponsors with financing needs associated with export-related projects or infrastructure development in the Indo-Pacific region. When I am not working on financing Australian exports or infrastructure development, I'd typically be involved in helping my kids take on new life experiences – be it a new sport, an adventure, or attending to house chores! As widely expected (from a surname like mine), I also enjoy a good game of cricket. Any hours remaining are generally spent on the final stages of a Global MBA program at Macquarie University.
