About Charitha Polavarapu

I’m a software engineer with 4+ years of experience building cloud-native applications that make life easier for both users and developers. At JPMorgan Chase, I’ve led the development of microservices and workflow automations. My work has helped reduce API response time by 50%, cut batch job runtimes from 7 hours to under 1, and automated 80% of manual operations using Camunda BPMN. These weren’t just technical wins they translated to faster insights, fewer support tickets, and happier business users. My toolbox includes Java, Spring Boot, Designing System Architecture, AWS (EKS, Lambda, RDS), Kafka, Kubernetes,Databricks, and Pyspark. I care deeply about writing clean, observable, and resilient code, and I’m always looking for ways to improve developer experience and system performance.I also apply system design principles to ensure our platforms are fault-tolerant, extensible, and ready to scale.I’m also an AWS Certified Developer and a regular contributor to internal knowledge-sharing sessions and hackathons. Outside work, I enjoy mentoring, solving design problems, and exploring how emerging tech can solve real-world challenges.
