Senior advisor and strategist providing counsel to teams, leaders and organizations of all size. My expertise is in strategic and crisis communications, team development, organizational culture, employee and community engagement, and operations. A veteran public sector executive, I offer executive coaching, strategic planning counsel, and expert media relations and communications services. I help stabilize organizations in transition, create compelling narratives and brand identities, and develop and execute meaningful engagement strategies that strengthen relationships with critical partners. The winner of the 2014 Politics in Minnesota Leaders in Public Policy Award, I am an active member of the Twin Cities community. I serve on the Minnesota Zoo Board of Trustees, including as recent chair, on the Advisory Board for the University of Minnesota's Center for Resilient Families, and was a member of the Super Bowl Legacy Fund Board. I also write and speak frequently on parenting, education, and social justice issues, including my family's journey through the maze of mental health and criminal justice systems.
