About Charlene E. Wilson

My purpose is to raise conscious awareness and my guiding principle is “clear is kind”. I work with leaders of organizations challenged to bring about the success of their teams. My intention is for those teams to become more successful with greater ease. This happens through skill development in building trust and improved communication. All work among teams is based on trust. “Will you deliver what you promised on time and within the conditions of satisfaction agreed upon?” Inevitably, there will be breakdowns of trust. Challenges will arise that push deadlines or change the scope of the work. Those breakdowns can be resolved effectively and in a way that builds trust for continued collaboration, or those breakdowns can exacerbate existing tension and strain future action. With the skills to build and repair trust and the communication tools to address breakdowns, teams are empowered to be a bigger contribution. They have the capacity to expand their vision and fulfill more promises— to one another and the populations they serve. The executives I work with are competent and talented people who are pushing against their leadership edge. What got them to where they are isn’t as effective as it used to be. Or, it is working but the costs to their own wellbeing are growing and they realize the current set up just isn’t sustainable. We work together to uncover blindspots, re-center on purpose and build the skills that will allow for stronger relationships- the relationships that will ultimately allow the organizations they serve to flourish and grow.
