About Charles Alling

As the Production Manager at Bureau Gravity, I’ve spent the past two years leading a talented team while building strong relationships with clients and colleagues. My focus is always on communication—ensuring everyone feels heard, appreciated, and motivated. I excel at navigating challenging situations with the right language, turning conflicts into collaborative moments. Before stepping into management, I was a senior video editor at Weigel Broadcasting in Chicago, where my work was seen on a national scale. The details always mattered to me, and I took pride in making sure every project was just right, delivering content that could stand up to the highest standards. My experience shooting video also sparked a passion for lighting. I love the challenge of lighting a scene, knowing what to highlight and what to eliminate while staying true to core principles of visual storytelling. One of my greatest passions is mentoring younger professionals in production. I love helping them grow, find their strengths, and build confidence in their abilities. It’s rewarding to watch them flourish as they develop their own expertise.
