You can be a leader in sales by solving a customer problem, or a leader of a team by inspiring the members of the team to solve a problem for themselves, it’s all about seeing a pathway through to an outcome and helping others to get there. That’s where the idea for my business Infinite Possibilities Ltd came from. The principle that there are infinite possibilities of potential just sat within people, and it’s our responsibility as leaders to spot that potential and draw it out. Much of my work is helping leaders to create the right kind of culture or environment to allow people to shine – to be able to step into that way of thinking because the environment supports it. I get really excited when I see that light bulb moment in an individual, and they ‘get it’. People say that I have the knack of making things simple so that they can be understood. While I’m training I love questions and discussion, it’s what engages people in their learning, so I use lots of stories and examples it’s the best way to get people to relate to a subject. I was fortunate enough to work with some amazing trainers at the Covey Leadership Centre delivering the 7 Habits of Highly Effective people. Even though the book has been around for a while the principles are still as relevant today. It’s that background combined with being a master practitioner in NLP which I think helps me to help others learn. I help business teams to break down their barriers to improved performance by using all I have learned over the last 35 years of working in literally hundreds of businesses to help them grow their sales or develop their teams. It is a very satisfying role to play
