About Charles Bill

I work with individuals, groups, organisations to reframe and overcome their challenges, to solve for a better world, to grow and succeed. I'm a coach, a facilitator of learning and I lead a team providing learning and knowledge services. I facilitate workshops on problem solving, creativity, ideation and new ways of working. On the surface, these sessions are a response to business needs driven by external disruptions, strategic changes or operational transformations. My approach is to challenge the expressed need, the initial problem statement, the group’s understanding of the “why” and the “for whom” more than the “what”. And then to think outside of the box and tap into the creative imagination when looking for solutions. In my current role, I am responsible for international teams that design, deliver and manage learning and knowledge solutions across the EMEA region for PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Advisory practice. I also run sales and business development learning and coaching programmes and have a number of executive coaching assignments both within and outside of PwC. I have worked with corporate, small business and not-for-profit organisations, leading or providing support for a variety of change management, training and coaching programmes and initiatives. Prior to concentrating on client-related training consultancy, I was responsible for setting up and managing three different training centres in French speaking Switzerland and in France, which involved hiring and training staff, locating facilities and suppliers, launching, marketing and selling the services and putting turnkey solutions in place to facilitate handing the organisation over to a permanent management team. Areas of expertise: Management development and coaching; Facilitation of training events, workshops and strategic brainstorming retreats; Delivering soft-skills training; Designing and developing training programmes; Conducting needs analyses and stakeholder reviews; Scoping, designing and delivering knowledge and collaboration platforms and tools.
