Charles D. Brown 843-694-0022 Summary of Experience Started surveying in 1994. I’ve been a Crew Chief for 25 plus years. Completed several types of surveys. including topographical, construction, ALTA, Celestial scanning, mobile scanning, tree surveys, environmental creek preservation surveys, DOT jobs, bridges, intersections, utility location, and construction stakeouts, Cell tower sites, proposal surveys, topo and boundary stakeouts, SUE location equipment and GPR, utility line location and GIS Classifications.I am currently working on project in the Lowcountry area, with Reeves Coastal Construction. In my last 8 years as a crew chief I have overseen over 15 large DOT projects. While at Timmons Group, I conducted all construction stakeouts for a Branch Civil project including all utilities, structures, EOP/TBC, buildings, walls, re-stake for city and county utility relocation and a 5 mile (new construction) road connector with 6 new bridge and construction as-builts. Currently conducting design and layouts for 28 bridges, drainage,clearing limits,environmental protection zones,and archaeological sites and, road way for future 540. Currently are using the TrimbleSiteWorks, and SC900. Technical experience-Instruments;Leica,/Trimble (Access/SiteWorks/SC900)-GPS;Topcon/ Trimble(Access/SiteWorks/SC900). Office experience-Court house research, GIS plat classification, expense reports. Worked with Trimble data transfer.
