About Charles Byrd

I am looking for a role to improve both my leadership and technical skills outside of the military. My goal is to have the ability to take ownership of a group or system and deliver customer satisfaction. ‍Looking for the following: Technical Program Manager Cloud System Administrator Cloud Architect Technical Lead After 28 years of military service, I am ready for the next stage in life. Becoming an Army Warrant Officer was the best decision I've ever made as a professional and wouldn't trade it for anything. Warrant Officers are known as the Subject Matter Expert and earn trust from those around to deliver results. I am looking forward to bringing that same professionalism, dedication, and drive to the workforce. The last 5 years working and understanding cloud technologies piqued my interest in learning the environment at a deeper level. I've been able to pass Azure fundamentals and advanced AWS certifications. Learning is a process that never stops. Cloud is the now and the future for business operations. Outside of work, I enjoy being with my family, friends, and sports. I've been married for 30 years and have 3 kids. We love skiing, archery, pistol range, travelling, and watching different sports. The benefit of the military was the moving every 2-3 years and having friends throughout the world.
