Dr. Charles Cayrat is Vice President People Analytics at Morgan Stanley (NYSE: MS). He is a former Senior People Analytics Partner at the National Bank of Canada (TSX: NA) and currently leads the People Analytics community of practice in Montreal, QC, fostering collaboration and innovation in the field. He holds a Ph.D. in Management (HR Analytics) from The University of Auckland Business School, an M.Sc. in Organizational Development and a Postgraduate Diploma in Management from HEC Montreal, and a B.Sc. in Political Communication from The University of Montreal. Charles leads the delivery of data-driven insights and strategic recommendations through advanced analytics, informing talent strategy, enhancing workforce performance, and optimizing human capital decisions. He has also conducted applied and fundamental research on HR Analytics and Artificial Intelligence in HR using both quantitative and qualitative methods, with his work published in leading academic journals and cited over 100 times. Charles has received numerous awards, honors, and grants in recognition of his research impact and academic excellence. He has taught courses in HR Analytics and Human Resource Management and is a regular speaker at academic and industry conferences. Charles built strong cultural agility through multiple expatriations across Europe, North America, and Oceania.
