About Charles Ceballos

Recently I have been working temporary jobs, to develop my skills through hands-on experience while I pursue a desirable permanent position. Ideally, one where I can use my unique set of skills, knowledge, and strengths. Ultimately, I see myself in a transitioning phase towards obtaining such a professional and fulfilling position, where I can grow and move up within the company. I am always willing to learn something new to accomplish this. After graduating high school in 2010, I attended University of Central Florida then a graduate program at Saint Mary’s University. In both programs, research is conducted on an international scale, covering topics that influence global politics. Studying history developed my analytical, writing, and research skills tremendously. While studying international development further developed these skills, yet with a more community-based focus in developing countries and the obstacles these countries and communities must overcome. While attending college, I worked at a restaurant, first as a busser then as a server. Here, I worked in a quick team-based environment, where entering orders, multitasking, and communication were essential skills. During the last semester of my masters program, I traveled to Kansas City for an internship with Unbound, a nonprofit organization with the goal of reducing poverty in developing countries through expanding access to education for children and empowering mothers. I truly enjoyed working for an organization with such great mission, and hope to find work in a similar organization.
