About Charles Cunningham

While I have had jobs in other fields, cooking is my first choice for employment. I've been cooking since my Grandmother, a Navy chef, started to teach me how to cook when I was five, when she taught me to temper eggs for ice cream. I have had experience in cooking in various settings, my most enjoyable being a fine dining restaurant as Sous Chef. That has been my favorite experience, because I was given the opportunity to bake, make ice cream, manage the kitchen, make signature desserts as the pastry chef and learn a lot about cooking from a person I think of as one of the best Chefs I have ever worked for, John Sutton. Then I worked at Reserve Casino in Central City, Colorado for another fine Chef, Justin Ente. Again, I have learned a lot from this young man and have, in turn, taught him some things. My experience is in fine dining and I would love the opportunity to teach what I know to others. I bring many years of experience and a passion for producing great food with me wherever I go.
