I have been working with people in addiction for over five years in a non-professional capacity. I find fulfillment in helping others find freedom and a new lifestyle. In the Fall of 2023 I decided to go to school to make this a full time calling. I will earn my diploma as an Addictions and Community Service Worker by March 2025. I am already working in the field in a treatment centre and a sober community safe space. My goal is to continue to learn and grow in my knowledge of recovery therapies and other therapeutic practices, so that I can help both the person suffering with substance abuse and those around them who are also victims of the sufferer's addiction.
