About Charles Evans

I have been a consumer rights attorney for over ten years, in which time I have litigated several cases in both California and Federal courts. During that practice, I have worked cases directly and supervised the work of other attorneys on their cases. I also supervised several clinics focused on protecting low-income homeowners and debtors in Los Angeles from unfair financial distress that would devastate their households if unchecked. It is through this practice that I was privileged enough to help keep hundreds of low-income Los Angeles residents in their homes when they would have otherwise lost them, and protect them protect their limited income and wealth from being unfairly taken by fraudsters and unfairly operating institutions. Outside of my legal practice, I also have business management experience and certifications in software development and culinary arts. My software development experience is aimed toward gaining experience with the machine learning technologies that will undoubtedly shape the business operations of the future.
