Designed, implemented and administered the North East ISD Novell eDirectory environment, consolidating 60 Trees into one centrally managed solution. • Designed, implemented and administered the enterprise Identity Management solution for all Harlandale ISD and North East ISD staff and students. Providing users with automated password and account management across many diverse platforms. • Designed, implemented and administered the Harlandale ISD and North East ISD Novell Groupwise email system. • Directed personnel assignments during major campus network upgrades. To include planning and implementation while maximizing network availability. • Implemented new department procedures for controlled asset audits. • Responsible for the design and deployment of the Cisco wireless infrastructure at North East ISD campuses. • Responsible for the design and deployment of the Trapeze wireless at all Harlandale ISD campuses. • Responsible for the design, implementation and administration of the VMware vSphere virtual server consolidation. Consisting of the physical to virtual migration of 30 Microsoft Windows, 15 Suse Linux and 10 Novell Netware servers. • Responsible for maintaining the district data storage consisting of two EMC SANS. 1 CX300 6 TB capacity and 1 CX3-20 with 20 TB capacity. • Designed and implemented the enterprise backup solution using Commvault Simpana. • Proven ability to direct highly technical personnel and maximize department productivity. • Proficient in the use of networking tools such as port scanners, password recovery tools, enterprise wireless and network monitoring tools and protocols. • Responsible for the upgrade/migration of all Windows, Linux and Novell servers. • Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Linux and Novell servers. • Proficient with VMWARE and Hyper-V. • Designed and implemented online HelpDesk system.
