Reflecting on three decades as a practicing industrial designer, it is clear that successful program outcome derives from a sound mix of skills and personalities. An even-handed approach with a touch of humility and humor helps. With respect to project support, I enjoy working either as a team leader or a team member. My satisfaction comes from achieving design solutions that are perceived as professional, safe, attractive and easy to understand. Specialties: Development of Medical Products and Compliance Packaging Focused on Voice of Customer (VOC), In-depth understanding of intended user and environment in which design solution is to be deployed. Good designs are based on due diligence and attention to detail. Over 20 issued U.S. Patents in patient care bear my name. They are assigned to such firms as Becton Dickinson, Hill-Rom, Schering Corporation (now Merck), BOC group, C.R. Bard, Inc. and Johnson & Johnson. After a successful collaboration with MPR Associates Inc, HUCKDESIGN, LLC, was merged with MPR Product Development based in Alexandria, VA in June 2010. I continue to serve as Design Advisor and Client Relationships.
