About Charles Hull
Retired from Valero Memphis Refinery. Retired US Navy. In the military environment, training never stops and I have taught hundreds. Training is the most important task a leader can support. I have written tons of curriculum, trained the last 6 "newhire" classes at the refinery and hopefully will continue even as a retiree. It's very dear to my heart and I think I have changed some lives with my dedication to the subject. I have completed several "train the trainer" programs for companies like ALCOA, UNION CAMP as well as VALERO and have loved every minute of it. Training should never stop, it's an ongoing process and needs constantly updated to be effective. Technology doesn't slow down and updates are necessary to keep the plant safe. You have to love what you do or you'll never be able to motivate or teach others. Safety must always come first, no questions asked, without placing safety first, your asking for trouble. Training and support of your Operators is a must for success!
