About Charles Joachim

My name is Charles "Tripp" Joachim I am an MFA student at USC School of Cinematic Arts, specializing in Film and Television production. My student filmmaking experience is extensive. I have worked on more than fifty student film sets throughout both undergraduate and graduate school. I have rotated between the positions of Director, Cinematographer, Editor, and Producer, amongst others. I feel that I have an understanding of all positions on a set and feel that this will prove to be an asset in my career, no matter what position I am in. Throughout my time at USC’s School of Cinematic Arts I have developed a passion for Television. I found myself watching and dissecting ten episodes of television shows for every one hour watching a film. This propelled me to take courses at USC that focus on the production and development process for TV. Last semester, I took a course called the World of Television where I pitched and developed my own comedic show throughout the semester which I really enjoyed! I have also taken many Television screenwriting courses and understand script structure and coverage extensively. Working in television is my goal for my career and I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to join your team, and look forward to hearing from you.
