Retired from Volusia County Division of Corrections after 35 years of public service. Retired as an Administrative Services Manager having reached that level with a BA in Sociology and a Master degree in Public Administration. I became fascinated with medical terminology when led me to be interested in a new career (after retirement) as a medical biller/coder. I completed AS degree at Daytona State College in Medical Billing/Coding and passed the AACP Certified Professional Coder exam on December 29, 2018. Although I maybe on the "other side of the mountain" I have plenty of gas left in the tank!
