About Charles Kaufman

Photography is my passion and I take pride in my work. I have worked extensively with high-end auction houses and Luxury goods in the New York City area for many years. When shooting fine objects for sale or auction the challenge is to present each piece in its very best light — fully capturing and highlighting its beauty, color, patina, form, and story. It’s an interesting and challenging gig. My clients include Christie’s Auction House, Sotheby's, Phillips, Bonhams, Steinway & Sons, Zachy's and 1stDibs along with various collections specialists, private collectors, artists and estates. For me communication is key. I find that by working closely with my clients and creating a positive work environment helps to fulfill their vision and ensure that deadlines and budget requirements are consistently met.
