Charles has spent over 25 years delivering award-winning work for top sports, consumer tech, automotive and entertainment brands like New Balance, Feld Entertainment, Samsung, Xbox, Olympus, Panasonic, Ford, General Motors, and Razer. In 2021 Charles founded the Lion Media Group with a focus on media relations, media training, earned media creative, and messaging. Over the past five years LMG has worked with some of the largest PR and advertising agencies and attracted name brand clients like Wake Forest University, the Professional Pickleball Association, Major League Pickleball, Deep Eddy Vodka, Monster Jam, SK hynix, and many more. Over his career Charles has won several industry awards, has changed perceptions about Monster Jam, got customers to #DITCHtheDSLR for Samsung, helped New Balance re-enter basketball, turned New York on to the Chevy Volt, and helped Microsoft launch games and Xbox Live. For much of the past 20 years, Charles worked in an integrated fashion with creative, social, paid media, and production, on campaigns that were culturally relevant and grounded in insights and data. He has an extensive network of media and influencer friendlies and vast experience in event management, executive communications, messaging, reputation management and media training. Charles is a graduate of Marist University, a former sports producer, and he currently resides in Scotch Plains, New Jersey with his wife Tracy, his two sons, Patrick and Colin, and his dog Spike.
