I'm a software technical project lead with extensive experience developing and managing software teams and projects. I ensure the smooth functioning of software development tasks and technical operations, guide and report development team progress, and ensure the client is happy with the technical aspects of a project. I'm currently a technical project manager at LMI, where I coordinate teams that oversee the development and maintenance of systems, ensure functionality meets the clients' needs, and collaborate with the client to change software to address emerging issues. I'm passionate about coding and working with data. I can write SQL in my sleep, and I find something deeply satisfying about teasing information from a mismatched pile of data. Data engineering is one of my favorite disciplines. I have a Master of Science in Software Engineering (leader of software solution teams), a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems (designer and builder of systems), a certificate from MIT in Data Engineering (building systems to enable the collection and usage of data), a Project Management Professional certification (juggler of tasks), and a Certified ScrumMaster certification (do everything in small digestible chunks). Oh, and I was a sniper in the United States Marine Corps (and now I sit at a desk and type for a living). I also coach and play lacrosse, volunteer my computer geek skills, hit the gym five days a week, enjoy bass fishing, and lose to my kids in first-person video games.
