About Charles Martel

I am a dedicated professional with a rich and diverse background in project management, construction, and customer service. My journey began with a Diploma in Construction Engineering from Algonquin College, followed by a Master’s Certificate in Project Management from Carleton University. Over the years, I have honed my skills in institutional facilities management and maintenance contract management, particularly during my tenure as a Building and Assets Portfolio Manager at the University of Ottawa. I am currently leading a team as a Senior Maintenance Management Specialist at PSPC, where I guide and mentor a multidisciplinary team through complex projects. My entrepreneurial spirit is evident from my experience as the owner of a specialty sport store and a paintball facility, which later transformed into an ever-growing hobby farm. I am fluent in both English and French, and I hold several security clearances, which have been instrumental in my roles requiring high levels of trust and responsibility. Outside of work, I am passionate about community involvement, having coached youth soccer and participated in various charitable initiatives, all while maintaining a healthy work-life balance through family-oriented recreational activities.”
