About Charles Mathis

Charles “Chase” R. Mathis IV has honed his skills as an attorney since joining the legal world in 2007, and has developed a well-rounded knowledge of the law throughout his career working at several national and local law firms in multiple positions. Since joining Maggs McDermott & DiCicco, LLC in 2021, Chase has concentrated his practice to assisting injured individuals in obtaining the justice and compensation they deserve. He earned his J.D. in 2013 from Widener University School of Law in Wilmington, Delaware where he obtained a specialized legal certificate from the Taishoff Advocacy, Technology and Public Service Institute in Trial Advocacy, was on the Dean’s List and provided Pro Bono services to Veterans. In 2006, he graduated with a B.A, cum laude, from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is admitted to the bars of New Jersey and Pennsylvania as well as the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. When not pouring over legal texts or arguing for his clients’ rights in the courtroom, Chase enjoys spending his days with his wife, two daughters, and the family’s dog.
